Board Game Arena

We just completed a game of Beyond The Sun which finished in a 69-point tie, broken by the first tie-breaker. We were going over the final scoring trying to see where we could have eeked out another point for a clear victory, when we found this: Points gained from Erratic Solar Activity.

1 of the two tied players received 1 point from Erratic Solar Activity, no one else did. We could not find any Tech cards with that name in the final situation, nor did that player have any private tech cards. For what reason was that 1 point awarded?

Found it in the logs. Erratic Solar Activity is an Event card unearthed when a player researched a Level II Tech. The player places it under a world, and whoever colonizes that world gains 1 extra point. It also costs 1 extra rock per ship that ends its jump on that world.
