I played Colony Convoy last round.
This turn I have 2 planets I wish to play, but the game will only let me select a single planet, and I can't select colony convoy.
How do I discard colony convoy from my empire to play a second planet?

never mind. found out game prompts after playing the first world to place a second. It's a little confusing but works.

Please note that this is per the rules of the game. You don't play two worlds at once; you play a second after revealing the first.

I still don't get how it works? Were and when exactly does the game prompt the opportunity to play the second planet with Colony Convoy? I seem to miss it

Colony Convoy and Military Convoy work the same way. You're given a prompt to play a 2nd world, if you have any eligible cards.

1. You make your regular turn, playing one world and maybe also one development. If you don't play a world, you don't get to use your Convoy.
2. You get to see what everyone else played.
3. Now, you will be given a prompt to play a 2nd world, if you have any eligible cards in your hand. If you have no legal 2nd world to play, the game skips this step.

Here is an example game. My opponent used colony convoy twice to play 4xGalactic Trendsetters.
