I played Private Teacher first, then I took 1 grain with my second worker and played Field Watchman.
Then, I could plow 1 field with Field Watchman's ability.
Is that right? It triggers on its own?
It seems a specification, not a bug.
If so, I think that's stupidly strong combo and needs adjustment not to trigger with the same worker.
How do think about it ?

That said, I don't think that's the correct behavior. According to the unofficial agricola (revised) compendium, using an action space is defined as : "First placing a person, then taking at least one action provided by the action space or taking a replacement action (allowed by a card you played.)"

I would argue that the "First placing a person" part is not fulfilled for field watchman's proc since you're already on the space when he comes out.

As far as it being too strong goes, I don't think that should factor in the decision. As far as I know we're not allowed to change the rules for balance reasons on BGA. If it does end up both legal and too strong I believe the only fix is a ban.

I just played a game where a player in first position did this in round 1:
Occupation -> Private Teacher
Grain Seeds -> Activate Private Teacher -> Seed Seller
This cost 1 food for 3 grain and 2 occupations in round 1.

If this is correct, it is wack af
