Board Game Arena

I've played a lot of tournaments in turn-based mode but none in real-time mode, because I can't reserve hours and hours (possibly into the night) just in case I make it far into the tournament. But is that even how these tournaments work? Don't you get a lot of matches ending in forfeits after some time? Or are all participants really that committed that they keep playing until they're eliminated?

I have wondered too!
