I'm trying to join a few different games, and I don't seem to be getting any success. Each one says "Searching for 0 opponent..."

What is going on? I was able to join a game earlier today.

0 opponents means that you don't meet criterium for joining available game.

65% of karma is often a criterium on long game, play some quick game with lot of player to pass over this limit and it should solve the issues.

I mean, I was able to join a Through the Ages game on my current karma. So I don't think that's the issue. And another of the games I'm trying to join in Railroad Ink, one of the shortest games on here.

Try to join game in manual mode, there is some available
Check also is you haven't a karma restriction on your automatic criterions.

Apparently the issue was that you can only have a max 10 games on the go at <65% karma.

That makes a lot of sense to me. Someone that abandoned games, leaves them because they don’t like what’s going on, or time out tends to piss off the other players. This balance gives a safe, limited practice space to the one who does not yet know how to politely get along while limiting the number of other players who will want to leave due to bad karma behavior.

I went and watched one of your games. You played and were in first place almost all the way through the game. At ~99% of the game you quit because you were in last place. That kind of behavior causes other people to thumb you down and never want to play with you again.

Play your games through, on time, and the rest of us will be happy to play you.

When I get that searching for 0 thing I just refresh the page and then click again and it usually works

I'm not sure it's anything more than a bug

I haven't had it at-all recently, but back when I did,

cancel the wait ​ , ​ refresh the page ​ , ​ re-start the wait

almost-always fixed the ​ 0 opponent ​ issue for me.
