Simultaneous Movement???

Hi, started an asynchronous game with 4 players. We are still early in the game, but noticed that our movement is simultaneous, but it is not hidden. So therefore the player that just waits to longest can see all other moves. Is that the intention for this mod? We haven't reached a point where anyone has bid for initiative yet.
Thanks,
Joe

I'm assuming you are in early game. It's a BGA adaptation that Lunalol implemented to speed up the early game. Once Ships are near enough to possibly be interacting w/each other, the turns will go as you expect.

Official rules suggest that early turns be played simultaneously as well. It is highly unlikely that you would care what the other players are doing for the first 1-2 Econ phases.

The first few turns are for exploring your home system so you can get your economy going. Each player starts with the same ships, # of planets, # of minerals, etc, so hidden movement only becomes important later on.
A caveat: I haven't played multiplayer here on BGA, but have played the boardgame extensively. In the boardgame, players mainly ignore each other for the first few Econ phases as they explore their home systems.
