Anyone else run into this? Not sure if it's a bug or just an ugly error code. Don't understand it. I'm being attacked by troops next to me so I'm trying to play an Ambush card and get this:

Unexpected error: You cannot ambush the unit, not enough attack power (reference: GS9 09/09 20:47:02)

Thoughts?

The issue is that when you ambush a player, if the other unit has dice reduction advantage (terrain / sandbags / etc.) it may happen that you cannot attack it.
Maybe there is already a bug opened for this please upvote it or open a new bug

I think Ambush Bug is an underrated character. My dream would be for him and She-Hulk to have a crossover. After all, they would not only know they are in a comic book, but also know they are in a cross-company crossover!

Could you post a screenshot of the moment this is happening? Including all units terrain, etc.

When a game action does not comply with the rules, it must not occur and/or a message must inform that this action is not possible. Displaying an error message in such a situation is a bug, in my opinion.

The Ambush card could be played only to get rid of it, whether it has an effect or not. However, the card text indicates that the player rolls his dice first, suggesting that the card could not be played without effect (when the attacking power is 0 dice or less).
I didn’t find anything in the FAQ about that.

Not enough power? An adjacent unit can always attack or ambush with at least one die..unless your unit was on a water/beach hex

Also what was your unit.. was it an armor unit in a building being ambushed by an enemy in woods?

Nope, not if you are a tank in a village attacking an unit in a forest for instance

Yes I did come up with that same example in my second post
