Turn-Based "who is at this table"

WHY can't we find out who is at the table for turn based games? It is so very helpful. WHY is this not included in BGA?
"Players around this table" is a holdover from when BGA was strictly a real-time platform. It was players who were actively connected to BGA servers and had a tab open to that table (including spectators). Messages would be sent to only those people.
It doesn't really apply for turn-based games, as people wander in to their tables and then leave at various times. Messages are saved for everyone to see when they do come to the table.
