It would be so nice to have the option friendly robber in the settings! Or as I like to call it Robin Hood robber

I prefer to allow that to be up to the players at the table. I remember when this was in Alpha and nobody would rob anyone for the whole beginning of the game. It fascinated me. When a 7 was rolled the roller would be like in chat: "so friendly robber still?"
I mean the roller wanted to get a resource but they also didn't want to have the whole table hating on them. Now that the game is out of alpha testing I feel like the whole mindset has changed and nobody has the assumption of "friendly robber" while everyone's ELO is at stake.
Some may say you can either play for fun or play to win.
I say:
Play to win can still mean play for fun as long as nobody is getting angry about expectations of suboptimal play from their opponents.
P.S. I still liked to play with these groups, cause if a 7 was rolled against me, I'd be safe while the robber would move to the abandoned "2" or "12" sheep field. But as soon as I got the 7 you know that "6" brick I was not on was getting ransacked!!

There is an official friendly robber variant so there shouldn't be an issue adding it to the game.
