Happening to me too. Its so frustrating. What can i do?

The developers have looked into the cause of the issue and are working on a fix. 
This issue affects only very old browsers. In general, the experience provided on older browsers cannot be as good as on modern browsers and that we encourage you to upgrade.
There will be a fix for the issue with next release next week. 

I am getting this too, that is the BGA "Play now" lobby won't display completely and nothing can be selected on the lobby page, so no new games can be started or joined on my iPad; I can't even see a list of lobby games available to play.
It occurs on my old iPad that won't upgrade beyond ios v12.5.6.
I had cleared my browsing history and thought it may be related to this, but can't find any settings which help this situation, either in iPad settings or on my BGA account.
It occurs in these browsers, Safari, Opera, Firefox on my iPad.
It occurs on an identical iPad using the same userid.
It occurs on a new Boardgamearena userid.
However, the lobby works fine on an iPhone 12 and an old laptop running windows 10.

Specifically, here is the error I get when the "Play now" lobby screen won't display everything on an old iPad ios v12.5.6:

Sorry, further information just came to me about this.
In a game of Spades started on my iPhone, while my iPad could load it and watch it, it could not choose any options or post comments in the chat feature. I had to play the whole game on my phone, a very tiny screen.
