At the time of the 3rd eclipse, if your opponent is on the top step of a temple and you are on the penultimate step, do you both get the bonus from the penultimate step? Or is your opponent the only one who gets it?

If you are referring to the final end game bonuses (after the 3rd eclipse bonuses have been calculated and the workers cocoa paid) then you both get them.
