Initial speech :
Ladies and gentlemen,

The time is come ((september to be specific)) to start The challenge of one of the best solo boardgame ever conceived. Thanks to the work of Mogri, we have now the opportunity to play solo game with the same setup during a whole month or week. Maybe you are aware that there is a similar challenge for the physical version of the game. But BoardGameArena provides us a unique tool that increases the possibilities to improve ourselves by sharing our entire game. Everyone will be able to compete for the best score but above all to learn from each other from turn 1 to the end. I repeat: with the same setup! Given the nature of the game, its complexity, the opportunity is unique. It’s up to you to take advantage of this extraordinary tool. Whatever your level at Gaia is, I can only encourage you to participate, share your game(s) and ask for help if needed.

I've posted a link to October's solo challenge on the Gaia Project players feed. We'll see if it attracts some good participation this month. Looking forward to seeing how it goes.

Is this a typo? I don't know what fixed card could possibly mean.

First time I've played Gaia Project on Solo mode. That was actually pretty fun. I took a break and came back later to finish the game.

Where are supposed to post our score?

I only got a 139 for my score.

Nesp 156 - 121 Default automa

I've tried a few starts (mostly unfinished), but it seems that starting with the 1w1k tile is stronger than starting with the big building tile. After upgrading to a PI, you can dig one of the adjacent red hexes, and get to 8k to upgrade 2 tracks. Getting a quick town is good, and getting to terraforming5 seems a logical follow-up. I've tried to snipe at least one gaia planet (mostly to get 8k from the one tile, and to get many vp from the 2QIC action), and I don't think it's worth it to fight for many more compared to other options. I ended with 3 towns (+1 from the terraforming track). The ending is a bit awkward because I ended with a lot of resources.

Like you did. Just mention your score in this thread, I will update the first post regularly. And yes, the solo is great (imo the best). :-) What automa did you choose ?
