How do you see ELO while in an "Arena" game?

Where it's normally found in a "simple" game, in Arena mode it is replace by the bronze/silver/gold etc display. In fact, I can't even find it after I click on the player's name link to open up their profile on a separate page?

You can see it in opponent's profile pressing on EXP button, and scrolling until you find the desired game.

Thanks for the pointer, but I still maintain it's something that would be very helpful to leave on the main game display, and I think the fact that it *is* there on non-arena games only validates that

That's nothing specific to Ticket to ride, it's the same for every game. But why would you need to see player's elo during an arena game?

To follow the One who can end the game first. If you fight against an high elo you can focus on hais game to avoid block / six taken that you Need/ and block him to

As davidb9 said, to be able to gauge the (likely) skill level of your opponent at a glance. Particularly at the start, it can influence ticket choices. Skilled players tend to play differently than casual/newb players.
Witness the inevitable thread just created that calls players who block "jerks." Such players don't understand the richness of this game, just like some newbie poker players think there's something wrong with bluffing.
ps. You created this implementation, thoun? Very good job! This is already far better than the Steam version. This thread is just a small tweak suggestion to make it incrementally a little bit better!

Yes I did, thanks!
But as I said, this a BGA standard behaviour, nothing specific to the game. Yet you are supposed to be matched in Arena to players with similar level if possible.
I don't think players who hate tobe blocked will play Arena mode, too much competition in here to be nice.

I’m not sure how other BGA games work, but as David & Madman, it’s crucial in TTR to know other persons ELO so you can follow what colours he/she are taking and also what path to take.
I get that we tend to be matched with similar skill levels but currently in arena I’m matched most of the time with Bronze, Silver tier so it really is first comes first serve sort of thing.
So please have ELO rank displayed or a way to view it mid game
Thanks Thoun.

I would appreciate if this standard would change - i think it would be useful in any game to see the other player(s) ELO

The best part of the arena mode is that the ELO is hidden, and replaced by the different ranking system.
Focus and play your own game.
