Board Game Arena

I was in a game where I was down 7 cards to 1. I wanted to concede, and kept trying to concede the entire time I was being steamrolled, but the game never let me concede; it just gave me the regular "needs 50% completion" message, all the way to the moment the game was completed.

If they can get 7 cards in the 1st half, then why can't you get 7 cards in the 2nd half?
