automatic action for players who don't play

Hi,

I know BGA manage players who don't play by excluding them of the game when they reach the max time allowed (based on voting system).
It's working well but... finally all others players are concidered as victorious. And for my point of view, I concider it is a kind a sanction for players that play well during the game.
I'm wondering if BGA could suggest to developpers adding an option in setting game parameters to allows the game administrator to chose an automatic action (depending the game) which could replace the exclusion of player in case of vote.
That allows the other player to continue the game with competition mind...
Sincerly,
Leo

It already works that way. Developers include logic for "zombie players" that governs the moves that are made by players who have left the game. BGA assigns ELO and all that once a player leaves, but the remaining players may continue to play or leave and zombie players will cover anyone who doesn't stick around.

I understand but why all remaining players are concidered as first player and gain associated ELO points ? Why not make a correct classement as usual ?

Because the zombie players aren't very good so the end result isn't accurate enough. They'd get more complaints if the end result counted Vs when the player was kicked. And since a game result could change during a game someone winning at 20% is not guaranteed to be winning at 100% they have set it to treat the remaining players evenly. If you think it's unfair then it's considered to be the lesser evil in a bad situation.
