The problem, as I see it, is this : in the pages above, you don't see the lasts messages for your language(s) and lots of players don't even realize that those subforums exists which means that you get very few replies on those forums and have a high chance to miss those replies when they do happen.

I would like (as an option set by default ?) to see the subforums for the languages I speak ( those is speak "fluently" anyway: yeah, bring *that* option back too.) directly in the main forum page. This would allow to see a lot more easily the last messages in those forums and would make those subforums more visible as a whole.

Without modifications like that, I think that users should be allowed to post language specific issues in this forum.

You can also subscribe to the subforums that interest you. Most of the problem solved.

I agree they could be made more visible to translators, but this should be done in the Translation module and not here. And sadly, it's just something few people will use in any case.

There are only disadvantages to that. The subforums were specifically created to do away with this chaos, and it works quite well.
