Group Chat- not sure if suggested before

Hello,

Suggestions around persistent chat features. I can imagine why the current feature set exists and is driven by table chat instances, general chat, and one-one chats.

I often play with two friends across several games. To my knowledge there isn't an embedded persistent chat option for more than one-one conversation. It'd be nice to have a group conversation that can track across multiple tables rather than restarting at every table.

Beyond that could have some kind of 'gaming group' party system for creating tables and tracking conversations inside a group. Heck even group stats for win/losses. Could be a nice feature set to premium members and an reason for more than one person in a group to get premium.

Also not sure if it's a bug feature- or I was playing with 1-1s with a friend I had to restart the voice chat at every table.

I put a suggestion in a good while ago that is maybe related https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=44072

I was mostly talking about when people are in defined groups on BGA, so if you haven't done so already you can create a private group which does have a chat feature for the members. What I was asking for was an easier way to set up sub channels as most groups I'm in tend to use things like Discord/whatsapp/messenger to handle these persistant groups chats, but I'm not sure if you'd need that if it's just you and a small group of friends
