"Quit Game Report"

Are reports ever actually assessed? I wrote "BRB" as I needed to use the bathroom, came back 2 minutes later to find I'd been booted with -20 on my clock. Worse still I then also lost my ELO and got a warning about it from BGA.
99% of players are perfectly accommodating about this sort of thing, but when someone has written "BRB" and they do return quickly, then it feels like the person that booted was the "one who quit the game".
I'm so angry about this injustice that I won't be renewing my BGA account unless this is dealt with and I'd like a full refund on the remainder of this year.

Sadly, stating 'BRB' is not a valid reason to have a report appealed. (note, I am not a moderator)
It is a very unfortunate situation as most players understand and respect someone who says 'BRB', but if someone is impatient that does expell you from the table, nothing can be done about it.
Just take the loss and regain your paints with other games.

That's not a "report", it's an automatic penalty for leaving (or being expelled from) a game in progress. Even if you had a valid reason for being away, the other players may also have valid reasons for expelling you (maybe the had limited time for the game and could not wait longer). The fact is they followed the rules and you did not.
Now, from the social and human-side aspect of it, you may think the other players were being [favorite insult here], and you may want to red-thumb them to show your disapproval of their attitude. Nothing wrong with that either, you're in your right too.

Please consider that non-native english speakers might not understand "BRB" and that Google can't translate abbreviations like this. I don't know if it was the case here, but if you play with someone of another language you should use complete sentences if you want to be understood.

How did they know you'd be back so soon? Or that you wouldn't keep going away?
If you'd taken the time to type out a whole sentence rather than just BRB they may have understood better that it really would be only a few minutes and just once.
when you start a real time game you are committing to play a game in real time. Your opponent did nothing outside the rules however annoying it felt.

Indeed. When you look at OP's history, he has been expelled 2 days ago, 12 days ago 1nd 41 days ago. His opponents were from Taiwan, Hong Kong and China, and none of them indicated knowing English on their profiles.
I also noticed OP has posted the same message of the threat of not renewing his Premium and demanding a refund of his current Premium status.
In my opinion OP comes across as someone who has a very limited mindset, expecting everyone to bend to their will, and would not be a pleasurable person to play with.
