The “amigo tournament rules“ variant states:

“10 rounds with specific number of cards for 3 to 5 players”.

What does “specific number of cards“ exactly mean? How many cards are used in a four player game? Which cards are removed, if any?

It‘s not about the total number of cards in the game, but the amount of cards in everyones hands over the different rounds.
Starting from the top, every 2nd round is cancelled, till the remaining amount of rounds equals 10.
For 4p, the following rounds are played: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.
