Scores reported.

3 people reached 200+ with a top score of… 233. Gg to akeba1, phoenix0903 and Niall.
Seems that the Alptrauma is the way to score but with higher risks (scores of abizaas and _yz).

My personnal goal is 200pts for now. :-)

Me 225 - 169 Ultoma
https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=315242144

I haven't looked yet at how other people got their big scores - looking forward to that later. This one took a lot longer than before and careful planning, with a few false starts (needed a few iterations to leech 1 more crucial power bump in round 2!). Still maybe 1 or 2 tweaks could be applied, so might revisit.

I think Ultoma is probably the easiest level to get a big score and a win with this setup. The Firak automa tends to upgrade more than expand, so as they get a couple more actions on higher difficulties, you can leech a bit more power, and meanwhile they aren't blocking you much. Alptrauma is mechanically the same as Ultoma but with more points.

Played on the correct map this time :D
Itars 191 vs Firaks 116 on normal Automa level

Decided on academy opening and aimed to take two advanced techs rather than topping three tracks.

UnusualMeerkat reached the 200 points (awesome game by the way). rundragon16 and aymaliev reached 180 points (gg to them) and three 170 points. Despite many attempts I failed to reach that level.

It is time to start the November challenge. I am excited to discover the Itars !

Initial speech :
Ladies and gentlemen,
The time is come to start The challenge of one of the best solo boardgame ever conceived. Thanks to the work of Mogri, we have now the opportunity to play solo game with the same setup during a whole month or week. Maybe you are aware that there is a similar challenge for the physical version of the game. But BoardGameArena provides us a unique tool that increases the possibilities to improve ourselves by sharing our entire game. Everyone will be able to compete for the best score but above all to learn from each other from turn 1 to the end. I repeat: with the same setup! Given the nature of the game, its complexity, the opportunity is unique. It’s up to you to take advantage of this extraordinary tool. Whatever your level at Gaia is, I can only encourage you to participate, share your game(s) and ask for help if needed.

Managed to improve my own score quite a bit, but I'm no expert yet :)

Won 153 - 112 towards Automa

Maybe time to increase difficulty for my part.

230 (me) vs 165 (Ultoma)

Ending up with PI+AC+m at R2 is key to high score I think.
