Last days to improve your scores. Watching replays could help you. I will try to launch a new challenge soon with a random map.

Re: #3 - Solo Challenge [November 2022] ACTIVE
Back to BGA after 8 years, I wanted to spend a bit more time practicing Gaia Project and I think these solo challenges are a great way to get started.
Thanks for setting this up Marcus Aurelius!
Here is my best score: 237 vs 165 (ultoma level).

I so much wished there was an "undo action" button in this game! (I am sure I am not alone )
I saw the Automa of the Week as an alternative choice. I guess this is just to provide additional options for testing but these games are not collected, right?

Playing just for fun (accepting all power and making rather fast moves, without overthinking) I have managed to win against Ultoma 188:169.
Not a high score as other guys did, but it confirms Itars are much batter then Firaks overall

Re: #3 - Solo Challenge [November 2022] ACTIVE
By the way I guess there is no chance for me to test the solo challenge from the 2 previous months, correct? (other than by picking the same factions obviously, but the automa cards will be different)
Re: #3 - Solo Challenge [November 2022] ACTIVE
and initial placement of the mines might be different as well.

Scores reported.
I didn't start a weekly challenge because that implies a lot of free time. May be in the future...
About the previous challenges, I don't think it's possible to play it with the same setup.
That's a great comeback ! I have to watch your replay (edit : done. Good economic engine).boulou2 wrote: ↑27 November 2022, 08:13 Here is my best score: 237 vs 165 (ultoma level).

Thanks! I did mess up a bit at the end (moving an extra power to Gaia area when I shouldn't have, so had to convert a QIC to ore to bring back a power token )Marcus Aurelius wrote: ↑27 November 2022, 22:59 That's a great comeback ! I have to watch your replay (edit : done. Good economic engine).
I certainly understand that, so no blame. However given the length of this thread, I hope you're convinced there is interest for this type of challenge so hopefully you'll continue entertaining us every month!Marcus Aurelius wrote: ↑27 November 2022, 22:59 I didn't start a weekly challenge because that implies a lot of free time.
