Ability to change opponents colors in our side.

i'm a carcassone player and often people play with green meeples which can be somewhat like ninjas in the green fields, many times I've lost due to that lack of difference in color.
what i would like to propose is a mask on oponnents meeples that only I can see. something like, if they play with green I want it to be yellow.
the same way we define color priorities for us, we could choose color priorities for opponents colors to be masked on our end of the game only.

This is a good idea. One objection that was raised to an idea like this is, in chat someone might refer to another player by their colour, or even address another player by colour.
So if they implement your idea, I guess they should also have some kind of notice on your screen, as a reminder, "THE PLAYER WHO IS ACTUALLY GREEN, YOU SEE AS YELLOW".

This sounds like a non starter in terms of them actually being willing to implement it. They won't even sort out a dark mode, they're not going to start changing player colour masks.
However... You might (big might) be able to do this yourself with CSS depending on how they've set up the base settings. I will have a play and see if it's possible.

I can't see an obvious way to do it in CSS. It's probably doable via some custom javascript in the browser but not simple enough for me to hack via CSS sorry.

2 different things. One is a site preference, the other is a game preference.

If it's an issue with one game, it would be easier to add a white glow/shadow around the meeples to make it easier to see them, ideally as an option. You have more chances writing then in a game suggestion report that he on the forum

well thought! I guess that would be a consequence of using such "mask".
Some online games have colorblind mode which I guess it could work too.

Yeah, I doubt it will be implemented. nevertheless felt like raising the question, because it has happened many times specially if I start playing faster... then the sneaky ninja might get mixed within the carcassone fields! :s

that would be a good workaround too!
