I love playing on this platform but in certain games my strategy is not how others would play/may not make sense to others. It gets incredibly frustrating when people feel the need to comment why did you do that/you should have done this instead/why would you.... My strategy makes perfect sense in my head even when it doesn't play out the way I pictured in the game. I actually had someone yesterday threatening to report me saying I was playing on two accounts because I did something that benefitted another player (I didn't realize it until after and it definitely wasn't intentional) Not everyone is good at certain types of games but we still enjoy playing. Please don't comment on another's choices during game play. Worry about your game

Some people worry about the Kingmaking act of cheating. It is correct for them to address odd circumstances, but they should do it in a respectful manner.

Nikakat, please be assured that you cannot be reported or sanctioned if you make unusual or even outright bad moves. Even if these moves help other players (=Kingmaking). There is a reason why it is not possible to report Kingmaking on this platform because Kingmaking on purpose cannot be proven anyway. And unintentional Kingmaking is often not avoidable in many games.

The only exception is when two or more accounts work together *on a systematic basis* to boost one of the players ELO. This is against the rules and can be reported. But when you do not do that, you have nothing to fear. It is rather your rude opponent that is in danger to be reported by you and being moderated.

On the other hand, you also have to understand that players that are very experienced in a game might be frustrated if a win is taken away from them by an fellow-players mistake. Decent players know that will happen every now and then and they won´t verbally attack other players. Some of the experienced players might give you tips how to play "better" next time, which can be very welcome or very annoying, depending on the situation.

Thus, if a player attacks your way of playing, just ignore him and give him a (private) red thumb after your game such that you never have to play with him again. And then forget and ignore the incidence as fast as possible. It is not worth it.

The guy that threatened you was definitely out of line, but I would bet that most people who comment on your plays are either genuinely curious about your strategy or think they are helping you learn. I'd give them the benefit of the doubt unless they're being insulting, at which point you should contact the moderators.

Well said. That is how I feel about it most of the times too.
