Was there an announcement about the SFTF being implemented from the DOW database? I must have missed it..
I would love Overlord multi player but first would like to see the addition of MG's, Mortars, Tand Destroyers, Halftacks etc

That's not a no. The mode was taken into account since the beginning so some parts of the code were already designed to make it work in team mode. Some other parts will probably require much more work as the flow is really different in overload board (just consider the notion of flank/subflank that is completely différent)
