How about temporarily removing exit penalties for players from Ukraine?

I've been playing BGA for years now and have never afk before the end of time. However, now my connection is often interrupted at random moments due to Russian shelling. I receive cumulative fines for reasons beyond my control. Players may refuse to play with me due to low reputation, while I am absolutely powerless against that Russian terrorist attacks. It's very embarrassing :(

While I understand your sentiment, and it may not be your fault, how fair is it to the other players that a game ends while you are aware your connection may not make it till the rest of the game?

While you could avoid it by playing turnbased games for the time being.

And how are people supposed to know you are Ukrainian? Don't understand me wrong please, but many people changed their flags to the Ukranian flag as a form of support. And we live in a world with VPN's. So you can never know whether someone is truly Ukrainian or simply wants to take advantage of the sitiation.

You have the power to avoid these penalties, go turnbased for now.

What voriki said is true, but playing turnbased is quite a different game experience. For me it wouldn't be very satisfying to play only turnbased.

But zampolit, you can play with your friends without time limit and without time penalities! Therefore the host of the game table has to restrict the table to "friends only". To do this, click on the small text "restrict table" on the right side when you open up a table and than choose "friends only". After that you can choose "without time limit" on the left side. I hope this helps :-)
