Board Game Arena

I have noticed that sometimes when I place a piece I need to validate the placement, while at other times I do not. There doesn't' seem to be any pattern to it. Is this by design?

I do not know the reason but every time I play from mobile, for every tile I get the validate message. This is not happening in any browser I have played Chromino.
