Colors make numbers hard to see

I find the purple card numbers very hard to read when playing this game on my phone. The light purple color of the number blends in too much with the purple bull head in the background. It’s a poor color scheme choice, in my opinion.

Does anyone else have this readability issue?

Would BGA consider making the card numerals white in color (or at least much lighter in color)?

That change would make them look like the actual cards in real life, which you can see here: https://boardgamegeek.com/image/95523/6-nimmt

Another online game site’s graphics for 6 Nimmt are clearer and more readable than BGA’s graphics. You can see a screenshot of the other site’s card images here: https://boardgamegeek.com/image/97093/6-nimmt

Surely BGA’s implementation can look at least as good as that site looks!

I have my phone on greyscale setting in the evenings and the cards are very hard to distinguish in greyscale mode, too.

At a guess, the cards here on BGA are from a previous version of 6 nimmt! and the colours of the real life game have since been changed.

Just a follow up to my OP. We tried to play this game today with my kids and their grandparents all on our phones. We had to abandon it because the grandparents couldn’t read the numbers. A pity! It’d be so easy to fix by improving the color of the numbers!

One thing you need to understand regarding graphics is that BGA needs the license from the publisher/digital rights owner for the game's graphics as well. At the time the game was developed, perhaps those color blind compliant graphics were not created/available.

So in order to add them, BGA must get the updated graphics from the publisher/digital rights owner, and possibly renegociate the license. That's a lengthy process, but you can try to get in touch with the publisher to make them aware of this issue and urge them to take contact with BGA on that matter.
