I just finished a game of Asian Railroads (https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=321816377) where my opponent was able to place two wagons of the same color on the same factory, one being placed in the purple expansion factory slot. As far as I understand the rules, that is not a legal move, but it's possible I'm missing something.
In the replay at move 190-191, you can see one placed via the standard movement from a factory placement, and one placed using a key. While those are both perfectly reasonable movement actions, I've always considered the purple spaces to be "reserved" spaces, so was shocked to see that this was allowed by the engine. Note also that he was able to place two purple wagons in a different factory space together, one using his own color (so one on purple, one on his color).
Both of those seem broken to me, as the rulebook clearly states on page 36 that "You may only have 1 maintenance car of your color per factory". Page 37 also notes: "You can add only one purple car per factory".
Has anyone else seen this problem?
