Player leaves game early system if not fair

When I player leaves a game early, the other players should either be allowed to continue the game with their results counting or the other results should not count at all. Treating them as automatically a draw rewards players with lower elos and punishes those who win the continued game. I am sure this is not a new observation, but it has become more annoying to me over the past couple of days.
