Board Game Arena

Can we please sort the "Game Related Forums" by alphabetical order? Makes no sense the way it is and can make it difficult to find a game.

Edit: (Based of the responses): Ok, I now understand why it is in that order but there needs to be a option to change the sort order alphabetically. The current order is good for people who want to read posts but it doesn't work for those that wish to write posts and have to search through the long list. This will only get worse as more games are added.

I disagree, it's make a lot of sense to sort them by date of last post in that forum !
When I come to the forum, I don't wanna have to scroll and check each individual game I know whether someone posted a new message or not in this subforum !

1) Unless that is already a capability of phpBB, BGA can't do this. BGA did not design the forum framework.
2) Even if this is possible, it should be in addition to, not instead of, sorting by newest post. I do not see why you don't think it makes sense to know which forums have actually had activity. If you don't see it near the top, then you know no one has written in it recently.

Thank you for explainig this, Tisaac. I always wondered about the order.

Does this mean you actually check new posts of each of the 500+ games? Even of games you never played? This sounds a bit weird to me.

I agree with john0607, I prefer to sort the "Game Related Forums" by alphabetical order. But as it seems it won't change anyway

Yup i first check only the games i played (also ordered by last post) and then if i am too bored also browse all games with a post in the last couple of days.
