My wife and I have both looked through the rule book and I did the training mode and still cannot figure out when to bring back Gentry that have been used. Can anyone clarify for me?

On your turn, instead of hosting an activity, you have to perform a "Pass" action. This gets your played gentry cards back into your hand. It also resets all your servants and gets you £200. You can also buy from the builders market.
The strategy guide suggests that you should expect to do this twice in a normal game.

It's actually either £200 or you can refresh the builder's market

Thank you! I guess I thought there was a natural refresh, and did not notice it was only after passing. Thanks for the clarification!
