Very important news about arena format guys!

We can now decide together which scenarios to eliminate from arena for being non adequate to competitive playing: hurray!! However, we need to do this quickly, because the developers need to know it as soon as possible.

From a previous post I extracted this list of candidates to be eliminated. Please copy paste the list and answer with a yes or no (we don't care about the why now) to the question: do you want to eliminate this scenario from arena?

Agree with this list plus any 4 medal scenarios I know there is one 4 medal where the US has air power while unit sits on a hill.

Can we add official scenarios from DoW like “ Twin Villages” to the add to Arena list

Memoir 44 isn't about playing the easy, nice scenarios - it is about playing and winning all the scenarios.

The DoW M44 online game has an award for playing and winning all the original M44 scenarios from both sides on their original day of battle. It isn't easy to do, but is more rewarding because it is hard.

I don't like some of these scenarios, but I will play them.

Reducing the number of scenarios makes Arena less interesting. Is that what we really want?

Like you I prefer Memoir'44 to be hard and struggle. But the scenarios I vot not to play are less a battle of wits and more who has more luck with the cards and dice. Today I played (and won) with the Germans at 1st armor to the rescue in two turns (2 consecutive armor assaults)
I get nog pleasure from such wins. I would rather play more turns with eb and flow of the battle and doing smart stuff to take victory from the jaws of defeat than have it handed to me on a platter.

I have played more than a few games of Memoir'44 on the board and online and know what I prefer

I can hear yous screams through writing as Jeronim tried to explain, we are trying to get rid of those scenarios that being particularly short depend only on the initial draw of card, and thus do not measure well enough the skill level at the table.

I would rather have the random selection work better.

Despite the claims that arena selection is random I seem to get one of about 6 scenarios.
Random? Not for me.

Also the points system needs to be refined.
To lose a scenario by 1 figure when one has had dice that are (at best) well below average and then lose 30+ points is also wrong.

Keep them all, we swap sides. Add more !!!
