Number of players

Is there a possibility to see the total numbers of players in certain games (like i.e, Carcassonne)? To see how many people have played this game or favourited.
For every game X there's a private group "X players" (although it may be difficult to find the correct spelling). Every player who has played at least once that game is automatically added to the group. If you are in the group, you can see how many members are there. It is possible to quit the group, but doubt many people do that.
