Board Game Arena

I am playing 4 player, and one of my units is the royal guard. I have the coin in my hand, and I want to use it to move the royal guard two spaces.
Do I select the coin, then click "pass"? That discards the coin, but I am afraid that will pass my whole turn, when I want to use the tactic of the royal guard (discard the coin to move 1-2 spaces to a location you control).
Any hints or suggestions is appreciated.

Hey, when you have a royal guard on board and you select the royal coin, the hexes that your royal guard can move to should be highlighted and clickable.

Great, thanks. I was in a situation where the royal guard had no places to move (as all the control spots were occupied). I thought I could move towards a control spot.
