It's become almost impossibly convoluted to correctly start a game with one's friends when that's all one wishes to do.

Sure, but the new lobby is worse than useless -- it's weird and confusing and literally all of my BGA buddies hate and avoid it.

I don't want to slag on the developers for trying something new, but, uh, this one is a failure. Please just always go back to the old lobby.

Is there some way to get that for rematches?

The other issue with the new lobby is that, as far as I can tell,
one can't chat at a rematch table without accepting the rematch offer.

Some moderator here said one can just start typing, rather than needing to bring up
a chat window first, but I've tried that at 2 different tables, and that seems to not work:
If it somehow is working, then the issue is that one can no longer see what one has typed so far, in such chats.

Please don't offer meaningless condescending advice.

When I said "It's become almost impossibly convoluted" I meant it. The differences between what the old lobby are and the new lobby are aren't exactly obvious. The path that _used to_ take me to the old lobby only takes me to the new lobby. The path that _does_ take me to the correct lobby offers myriad distracting options urging one towards anything BUT just playing a game with friends.

I realize that you probably didn't intend it as condescending, but it is.

And if you haven't favourited a game, you can't just use Play Now and the old interface.
