Maybe I didn't see it, but this game desperately needs a '# of cards remaining in Patent Office pile' display.

Or maybe a *LAST TURN* warning.

I agree but the rules unfortunately specify you shouldn't count the number of cards left.
The author asked for a graphic way to roughly show where we're at though, and I'll work on it when bugs are fixed.

Correct me if im wrong, but there is no randomness to the number of cards in each deck.
This means i know exactly how many cards are left in each deck at any point in the game. It shouldn't be an advantage to count cards no matter what the rules say.

I don't think anyone is wanting to know exactly how many cards are left in the stack, but having the game suddenly end isn't realistic to the game experience either. You're going to be able to see that the stack is getting low if you're playing the physical board game. You aren't even trying to count cards, but can tell if you need to start wrapping things up if the stack gets low.

I think that is what many are referring to. I know the game instructions don't want you to count cards, but having some sort of approximation of cards left in the stack isn't going to hurt the game either. Saying the stack has "Less than 10 cards" or "Less than 5 cards" would help.

I'm not saying i want to know, i'm saying i allready know since there is no randomness to the number of cards in the decks. I personally do not like when crucial information is reserved for those who count cards. This is why i'm all for a card counter for both decks.
