A player talked about following the "tread" strategy...

I have no idea what he meant. It came up when asking about a robber move and after I explained my strategy he said that he guesses I "don't follow the tread" way to play. ???? What does that mean?

Maybe he meant 'trad' = traditional strategy, and it was a typo?

I have never heard of 'tread strategy' either.

It's obviously a typo for "trend". They don't follow the trend
