Why did I lose points for an arena tie?

I just finished a great game where we managed to tie, 135 to 135. I figured I would at least get to keep my rank. I was surprised to lose three points despite not losing the game. The other person was silver, while I’m gold, maybe that’s it?

If you are higher rated, your points will go down. You can see some of this explained in the standard rating (non-Arena).

Actually, looking at the game (https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=337512698) you lost. You both scored 135 points, but you lost on tiebreaker (as described at the bottom: Tie breaker: Most completed Destination Tickets, or Longest Continuous Path)
