In real life, especially between friends and in training, you can let the adversary to undo his moves.
What I suggest is a little button in the game history. Instead of view replay, you can request to "rollback" at the specified point. If all the opponents agree, the game return at the specified point. NO ELO IS GAINED AT THE END OF THE GAME, as the game was started in training mode.
You can restrict this to the last moves only, and / or to games with friends.
