Board Game Arena

I think I understand the game and scoring, but I still can't beat the automa on easiest level even when they start with zero VP.
I've come close a few times but usually lose by a few points. I can't seem to break 100 score very consistently. Are there any tips or strategies to help?

You have access to a lot of replays into the solo challenge (see others threads in this section). Imo the best way to learn how other players beat even the best automa.

There's lots of advice, including Beginners' Tips, on the boardgamegeek strategy forum - though the emphasis is on 4-player games.
I suggest playing with the variable map so you can rotate the tiles to give you a favourable starting position. Use normal mode: yes, the automa will get more turns, but on average you will receive more power charge and there will be more automa buildings to upgrade cheap trading stations near.
