I cant spent my gems on the game, this happen to me twice already, it displays the message of "you have to pick gems first" when I have 4 blues and tried to buy a card of 3, the only difference is that I use the cell phone to play, anyone with the same issue?

Incorrect. The difference is that the game option "Game Mode: Competitor" was selected instead of the default "Game Mode: Casual".
