Indeed, it is not registered in the log. But in fact you get +2 VP.

I can confirm this bug is real. I also made a bug report for it. This badly needs to be fixed because it basically breaks games with Korea in it.

Any update from the developer? This is a very serious bug right now that will severely impact every game with Korea in it. Furthermore, those that do not know the bug are very disadvantaged.
