If I've already dismissed "join a table faster by adding flexibility to your settings" thrice, I don't really want to see it a fourth and fifth time.
Hints like this are useful. The first time.
The second time, they're dubious.
Beyond that, you're just insulting the user for having a preference. Subtly, at first, but increasingly less so.
