Ads on games causes horrible loading issues

Anyone else notice the new ads on games are making the system freeze and glitch and causing games to take forever to load?
Today's ad for 20% off Railroad Ink Products made the page reload 3 times. Each time took many seconds and froze my computer as it loaded.
I can put up with the ads in general, but ruining my day with game after game of freezing glitches is not what I come here for, or what I paid premium for.
Very frustrating. This has been going on a few weeks now. I thought- maybe this will be fixed? It is getting worse.
