The rules state 1 wrong guess and you're out, is that only in multi-player games?
In a 2-player game, BGA let a player make a second guess (on player's next turn). Is this an error, or the rules for 2-player games?

Rules for 2-player game.

I think it is done because in 2-player game, your don't need to discover the solution, and you can try more times (with 3/4 players you need to see the correct answer, and it's impossible to coninue more rounds if you fail)
