Karma and Red Thumbs : wrong stats ?!

I've recently received a karma penalty because apparently I receive too many red thumbs.
When you check my karma, it says "over 10%" of the players give me red thumbs.
Considering the sheer amount of games I play, how many different players were involved, and how all games run smoothly ... 10% of people giving me Red Thumbs seems totally unlikely.
Could there be a problem in the algorithm calculating the karma ratio ?

It doesn't seem that unlikely.
From your most recent 53 games, you've gone over time in 10 of them and left 1 of them.
If you're going over time / leaving in ~20% of your games, it doesn't seem that unreasonable that 10% of people would red thumb you.
I personally wouldn't red thumb people for going over time, but I don't blame people for doing so either.

Interesting you think the system must be at fault when 20 % of your games are ruined by your own inaction.
Maybe ask yourself why do I time out and/ or abandon 20% of my games? What can I change in myself/ my world when I play to be a better community member? How can I change to act in a manner that makes other give me green thumbs instead?

It's not that 10% of people gave you red thumbs, but accross the players which gave you a green or a red thumb, more than 10% of them were red.

It looks like you are playing rather complex games and trying to optimize your move, thus needing more time. When you host the games, you could start them in slow speed or even as a turn-based game to avoid going over time. When you join games, you can also look for these speed conditions.
