Hi, this is an interesting thought.

I usually write a note About the player when I red thumb them, but not the date I do it.

We can all change our behavior, and a very bad player/person can change a lot over time.
If the player doesn’t have a bad karma reputation, this can be a good indicator that they have changed their state of mind.

It would be useful to show the date we gave the red thumb when we hover with the mouse over it!

I had the same thought a while ago about players I gave a red thumb to a long time ago. I'd like to be able to see a list of the players I've red thumbed to manage it. If I've only played one bad game with them I might give them another chance to prove me wrong.
Now I only give one when the player's behaviour is really bad, and usually after several encounters. Everybody can have a bad day and be a little harsher in the chat that they should.
I know I've gotten quite a few RT from players as well (I checked once) but I've never noticed it stopped me from joining a significant number of rooms. Hanabi's player base is quite large. Usually when I click on "show me rooms I can't join" it's only because their level restriction doesn't match mine.

Even tho I'm not inclined to think that people change their behaviour very often, this is a nice suggestion

I've started to leave dated notes on people when I RT them. It will allow me to reevaluate over time, especially if it was competency-based rather than personality-based.
