Can someone explain me what happen in game #359638057?
I was playing according to the time.
Why I was expelled from the game and penalize?

No idea, but the way an individual can expel somebody is just ridiculous sometimes.

The other day I was playing Stone Age with 4 players and on the good time for the entire game.

After about 50-60 minutes of play it was the end of the game and I was at the point of moving all my meeples back for the very last time, I had already done 2 out of the 4. My time crept into the red then somebody expelled me. Yes, I was in the red (just), but it was literally the last 10 seconds of an hour long game and they could see I was on my last meeple...

The exact same thing happened to me few minutes ago.
I started playing my turn then realised that if doing another move instead, I could be able to win. So I reset my actions and while I was doing my things, as soon as my timer reach -1 second, someone kicked me out. With the stress of the final 20sec countdown it's just impossible to keep focus to play a final turn. I simply turn off the computer. In result: I will have bad points for my reputation, and the other player will still gain ELO points. What a beautiful way to encourage people to have friendly and relax agreable game!
Anyway. To me, its very bad sportsmanship and it looks like just another tactic for frustrated people who cant bear to loose...

MY QUESTION IS: Would that kind of behavior be a reason to give a red thumb?? Thanks

You can always give a private red thumb to a player, and you don't need to give a reason. It only means that you don't want to play with that player again, and it won't happen unless you remove the red thumb.

On the other hand, it would not justify giving a public red thumb, since kicking a player for being overtime is totally within BGA rules, even if it's just by 1 second.

I play a lot of Stone Age and a little bit of a handful of other games. Most of my games are tournaments or arena matches, but I like to have at least a few turn based “just for fun” games. I understand people kicking others out of games for going over the time limit in arena and tournament games, although I still think it’s very rude and wrong to do without at least a warning in the chat box. I believe in good sportsmanship and that everyone should attempt to finish games on time when there is a game time limit like in tournaments. I get extremely annoyed however when people kick others out of “just for fun” turn based games that are obviously on the road to ending, but someone is playing a little slow. I give red thumbs to EVERYONE who ends a game early by kicking someone out. I’d be very curious to see if anyone wants to explain their reasoning behind this behavior. I always ask people in the chat box why they decided to do it, but no one ever responds.

I think a possible solution to this would be for BGA to stop letting users kick others out of games and instead just have automatic endings for real time and turn based games when someone reaches negative X time. Maybe 10 minutes for real time and 5 days for turn based.

The game starts with a clear time limit, as soon as you go into red you can be expelled, because you already broke the "rules" for the game. Sure it can be done nicely (or not done), one can ask if everything's OK, or give some extra time, but stop putting the blame on the player who expels, it's the fault of the player who went overtime.

It's likely a bug because it happened to me too a week or so ago. It's very frustrating but what can you do?

I disagree. I think it's very poor sportsmanship to play 90% of a turn based game, that you've already invested multiple weeks of playing moves in, just to expel someone to end the game early. It's usually very clear if someone is playing slowly or not playing at all. Sure, if they don't make a move for a couple days and you don't expect the game to finish, then go ahead and expel them (or be nice and propose to abandon the game collectively). But sometimes life gets in the way and people don't have time to play a turn before their time runs out. Just because you're losing the game and you have the option of kicking someone else out so that you don't have to lose, doesn't mean it's fair (or nice) to do.
