How long do you wait before skipping?

If your opponent has not played their turn, how long is it considered decent to wait before skipping their turn?
I get that sometimes players might have real life issues and cannot make their move in time, but how long do you usually wait before doing this in USE? One day? Two?

For me, it depends on the turn time the game was set. I'd send them a direct message first before skipping their turn. A message to the table can't generate an email, but a direct message can.

Is it over the weekend? Your opponent may show up afterwards.

I think it depends on the game configuration. If you are set up for one move per day it doesn't make sense to skip as it will take a week to finish a game anyway. But if you are in a 24 move per day game and someone takes 24 hours to move, I skip. Don't join a game that you are unable to keep pace with. I have noticed in the last couple of weeks I see more and more games abandoned which is really annoying.
