In my last game I ran out of time (1st time late in game ) but passed quickly to awoid getting booted since the eject button was pressed at once. The next couple of rounds one of the players started making insane trade offers again and again (in same turn) trying to run out my clock. Playing on the phone so this is more difficult to handle.

The player in question had a high ranking compared to me and the other player and at the time was about to be last.

OK tactics? Deserve public warning?

I would red thumb that player, either privately or publicly.

Adjust your settings to only receive offers that contain a certain resource. This way any offers that you know you will reject does not take away from your clock. Or you can turn off trades altogether when you see your time is running low and turn them back on after a few turns once your clock is full again.
